There Are no Birds In This Town

I'm listening to one of the songs that we mixed today.
It's called A Flutter Of a Wing.
The mixing is coming along pretty slowly, but I think it sounds pretty damn good. I don't really know what to say more about that... I could start writing about how we made the snare sound a little bit softer and so on but you'll hear the album soon anyways and it seems like a pretty boring tale. What I can tell you, thay might interest you, is that the song was inspired by the fact, that for the first three months during my stay in Berlin last year I didn't see any birds, maybe one or two but the city seemed pretty bird less to me. Which I must say I thought was very peculiar but this was until we moved to another flat in January and I realised that the entire population of birds seemed to like the only tree in our garden. I have never experienced anything like it and never heard anything like it. The other weird thing is that our back garden in Stockholm is filled with grey sow bugs. There must be millionsbilions of them, they make the ground sligtly move around and our dog Bess eats like a hundred of em everytime she's out in the garden. Anyhow, They freak me out. I would do anything to have the birds back.
